PHILOSOPHY

I began practicing medicine in the Alta Bates community in 2001.
I started my own practice in 2004. My mission is to provide quality, personal, primary and preventive care. This means medical care that focuses on the biological
as well as the psychological aspects that comprise our overall health and well being.
I strive to utilize evidence based medical practices to guide medical decisions
and preventive care. In addition, I believe it is important to communicate
the rationale for specific treatments and make sure these are understood.
Continuity of care and good communication are essential to navigating a complex medical system.
